How does The Soccer Wall handle in the wind?

The Soccer Wall mannequins will handle the wind remarkably. The open cell mesh will allow the body to absorb the wind. On high wind days the post will hold strong. The body fabric may twist slightly but will reshape as the wind dies.

Is The Soccer Wall susceptible to breakage?

The Soccer Wall will not break under normal use. Although it is not recommended, the mannequins have been tested under high velocity and close range shooting.

Will the frame bend?

Your Soccer wall post may bend in time. With powerful direct hits from missed shots the post may bend. This will not affect the products usefulness. The post may be bent back to its original position if desired.

Can The Soccer Wall be used on hard ground?

Hard, dry terrains will make the stake insertion more difficult. The footplate will assist in placement on hard surfaces. For rock hard surfaces consider finding cracks in the ground to provide a starter hole. (A small battery powered drill with a large bit has also been recommended as a quick and easy hard ground solution.) Otherwise you may have to search a little for a the path of least resistance.

A turf base is being developed that will allow easy and cost effective utilization of The Soccer Wall on field turf and indoor settings.

Will the body fabric deform?

As The Soccer Wall body fabric is a lightweight malleable fabric with a lightweight, thin spring steel frame, its shape may change slightly. This will not affect the products usefulness and the body shape will still be pleasing.

Will The Soccer Wall twist when hit?

The Soccer Wall was designed to bounce when hit and spring back into position. It is very difficult to hit the central support post. Most errant shots hit the body which will immediately pop back into its original shape. If the head ring is hit on the side the unit may twist slightly. Simply twist back into position.

The product looks light, will it hold up?

What do I do if the bottom elastic loop stretches and sometimes slip off?

Try doubling the elastic loop when slipping it over the footplate. This will keep it on nice and tight.
